Children’s Ministries
East Brainerd Baptist has several opportunities for Children ages 3 years to 5th grade, to be involved in fun interactive activities. These activities are Bible based, and are designed to teach them about God’s desire for how to live, and to lead them into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Small Groups (Sunday School)
Every Sunday morning at 9:45 we have age-graded classes for children. In these classes the children participate in activities and have a short Bible lesson that is designed to teach appropriate life lessons and to prepare them to make a decision to follow Christ
AWANA
(Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed – 2 Timothy 2:15)
On Wednesday nights during the school year we have our AWANA ministry. AWANA is for children from 3 years to 5th grade and it starts at 7:00 and ends at 8:00. In AWANA the children work in their handbooks doing scripture memorization to earn awards. There’s also a Bible story time and a time for games. The children learn scripture and learn about fair play and how to work and play together. Kids love to come to AWANA!
Summer VBS (Vacation Bible School)
Every summer we host Vacation Bible School and each year has a different theme. Our VBS happens in the evening, so mom and dad have a chance to get home and grab a bite to eat before brining the kids for a great evening of games, stories, snacks, and crafts. VBS is for children from 3 years to 5th grade, and it’s always a BLAST!
