Missions

We at East Brainerd Baptist consider missions to be a primary ministry of our church because Christ has commanded it:

“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Mark 16:15

We realize that there are many facets to missions. First, we understand that missions involves being involved, so we support the local efforts of the Hamilton County Baptist Association (HACOBA) and many of its local mission efforts. We also realize that missions outside of our county and country will not function without our gifts, so we have two missions offerings each year. Our ‘Annie Armstrong’ Ester missions offering goes to the Southern Baptist Convention to support missionaries on the field in North America. www.namb.net At Christmas we collect our “Lottie Moon” Christmas offering to support the SBC’s international missionaries. www.imb.org
